Delete your Shifticker account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from inside the app or from the web dashboard. Nobody has to approve it and it takes effect at once.

How

1. In the app: open Settings from the avatar on the Shift screen, choose Delete account, and confirm with your password.
2. On the web: sign in at shifticker.com, open Settings, and use Delete your account at the bottom of the page.

If you own an organization that still has other people in it, transfer it to somebody else first, from Team. Nobody can be left running a company they cannot administer. If you are the last person in it, the organization is closed with you: its kiosks are switched off and any paid subscription is cancelled.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• Your password and every signed-in session, on every device.
• The phones registered for notifications, and your notification preferences.
• Your membership of every organization.

Your email address can be used to create a new account straight away.

What is kept, and for how long

Check-ins, check-outs, shifts and the photographs taken with them belong to the organization that recorded them. They are the employer’s attendance records, and they stay, with your details removed, for as long as that organization keeps them. Photographs are removed on the retention period the organization has set, thirty days unless they changed it. The audit log keeps the fact that an account was deleted, and when, without who it was.
